After playing together in various bands along the central coast over the last 20 years, Harpin Jonny and Peter Clark have joined together to form a dynamic musical experience.
Harpin Jonny is a virtuoso harmonica player that has played for over 30 years. He has been featured on several radio and television venues, performed with countless bands and currently fronts two bands; The Primadons for the last 20 years, and the Groovehounds for the last 10 years. He has recorded on numerous CD projects and has established himself as a sought after performer. He is multi-talented in playing country blues, rock, jazz, and blue grass licks.
Peter Clark has been playing music in Santa Cruz since his days leading the Louis and Clark band starting in 1978 and continuing with Stormin Norman and many other local musicians through the years. These days, he concentrates on acoustic finger-style guitar picking in the tradition of Chet Atkins, Doc Watson, and Tommy Emmanuel. Drawing from his own songs and from sources as diverse as Hoagy Carmichael, Al Anderson, and Townes Van Zandt, the marriage of tasty picking and carefully crafted arrangements result in a remarkable musical adventure.
